Idaho Trip - Dec 23

Date: 12/23
Location: Island Park, Blackfoot

I have no idea how the cabin trips always fly by.
But this one did just like the others.
We cleaned and loaded up to head back to Dad's.

The routine good bye picture.

And not so routine!

We even said goodbye to Orangey the Elf.
The little trickster had hid today in Brylee's sleigh she had left for him.

As we were finishing loading up.
Taylee was missing.
I found her on the deck eating Snow Dipped Tootsie Roll Pops.

Well I've got to give her credit for her creativity! lol
She even shared with Anden.
Mmmm flavored snow balls on a stick!

I love watching these kiddos interact,
well at least when they're getting along! :)

Then it was back to the front yard to dig out the vehicles.
It hadn't stopped snowing in 3 days now.

Doesn't everyone sweep their vehicles with a shop broom?

The kids were perfectly content entertaining themselves while the adults worked.

Taylee was still in bliss with her now half eaten lollipop in one hand
and icicle in the other hand.

Anden had found his own personal stash of icicles too!

Gotta love Taylee's always animated expressions.
Sadly I know where she got it from! lol

We were finally ready to head out.
The boys drove the toys out to the gate to load onto the trailer.
The girls drove the vehicles!

Finding out she could only take her "snack" to the gate instead of the 2 hr drive home!

And there we sat in our warm cars with heated seats
and watched the boys load up the trailer in the freezing snowstorm! :)

Batting those beautiful eyes to beg to keep her new icicle friend for the drive.
Apparently my explanation of solid and liquid states of matter didn't go over well.

So instead she decided to brave the outdoor elements
and do a snow dance with it! lol

Then she ditched us to go see Lyndsay and Kyrrigan in the other vehicle.

So Anden and I entertained ourselves while we waited.

Finally the boys were done!
Ryan and Taylee made their way back.
But not without a show.
She thinks Ryan is her personal jungle gym! lol

Proud of our little Arizona vehicle for braving these winter conditions!

Winding our way back out to the main road and on to Blackfoot!

Two hours later we pulled into Papa Nolie's house.
The temperature was now 38 degrees but still with precipitation.
Except when the temp is that warm...
It's rain
not snow!

We were heartbroken to say the least.
We watched as the little bit of snow that was there melted right away.
But on a positive note,
at least it was finally perfect wet snowball type snow!!

Ryan tried his hardest to nail me.
I do believe he might have cracked the patio glass door when I ducked inside for cover!

We lounged around the house all night.
And of course more UNO!

Cartoons on Papa Nolie's phone before bed!

And yet another action packed day!
At least we can say we always make the most of our Idaho vacations! :)
