Yes Christmas always finds us way early!
But c'mon we have places to go and people to see! lol
So once again Santa made an exception to visit us before we left for Idaho.
He was extra tricky this year!
Instead of the usual bow trail he leaves the kids
he booby trapped the house by leaving them each
a string trail all throughout the downstairs!!
The kids were both too excited to sleep
and ended up downstairs in my bed during the night.
Somehow they didn't think it was odd that they got clothes-lined
and then had to crawl the rest of the way into my bedroom lol
When everyone woke up we went back to the starting point of the strings.
The staircase.
Christmas Morning Yawns and Stretches!

Then we gave them the green light and they were off!
Taylee followed her pink string
while tripping over Anden following his white string!
The strings each led them to a huge gift bag
containing their gifts from Santa!
Once they found the coveted treasure
we reconvened back by the tree to tear it open!
They both must have made it on the nice list
because they got the main things they asked for!
Laloopsy Princess Doll
and
Lite Brix
with of course a couple unexpected things!
Then we moved our way to the presents under the tree!
And finally we moved on to Stockings!
Then it was
HURRY QUICK! Play with your toys before we rush to school!
(yes the down side about having "Christmas" on your own chosen day)
So Ryan rushed out to work and I hurried the kids to school.
Since is was the kids last day of school
we brought in Anden's homework project that was due later that week.
"Favorite Holiday Traditions"
Guess what he picked?
I was beaming (and not partial at all) to say the least! lol
He was so excited to tell his class all about his Idaho adventures!
I really let him have control over this project
and he decorated the poster just how he wanted!
I rushed home after dropping the kids off
and then spent the rest of the day putting the house back together
and packing for the Idaho trip.
After school the kids had a couple hours to play before we headed out north.
We were able to finish Anden's Lite Brix Rocket!
He was thrilled!
Then we loaded up and started the 13 hour all nighter trek to Idaho!!!
YEEHAW HERE WE COME!!
