Date: June 8th, 9th
Since the kids were away in San Diego,
we decided to make use of the alone time by having a little
Babymoon Vacation!
We stayed at

in Paradise Valley.
I've been wanting to check out this five star resort for years
but couldn't swallow the $500+/night rates.
It was just as gorgeous as what I had heard!
It's at the base of Camelback Mountain with gorgeous views from every angle!

I'm a sucker for high quality fancy places.
How can you not appreciate gorgeous views, impeccable landscaping,
a bathroom the size of your entire master bedroom,
or sitting down at a pool for 1 minute
before a butler brings you a pitcher of ice water and waits on you the rest of the day?! :)
And that's exactly where we spent most of our time,
lounging by the pools!
I love just walking around resorts checking out the architecture and landscaping.
This one was gorgeous with its European style.
View from our patio before heading to dinner
We decided to go off property for dinner.
We heard good reviews for a new restaurant that had opened nearby.
So we checked it out.
Definitely yummy!

After dinner we headed back to the resort.
We chilled by the waterfall fire and ordered dessert.
Yes Ryan thought I was crazy since it was still 90+ degrees outside
and I wanted to sit by a fire!
But hey at least I scooted further away once the dessert arrived.
I didn't want it to melt! lol
Day Two:
The next morning we were back to our same waterfall
to eat breakfast in the comfy rocking chairs
and enjoy the gorgeous scenery!
Then we roamed around the grounds taking more pics
and enjoying our schedule free day.
We eventually planted ourselves at the pool the rest of the day!
And maybe we watched multiple episodes of our new fave TV show
on the IPad while lounging poolside! lol
Hey you've got to fit it in when you can.
And with our crazy busy lives there isn't much time for TV viewing!
I highly recommend taking mini retreats whenever you can.
They're the best! :)
