Today was a super fun one for the kiddos.
We went with Holly and the kids to
They have Season Passes
but seeing as I can't go on a single ride
I opted not to buy Season Passes this year as well.
But luckily it was "bring a friend" discount day.
So we gladly joined on in!
I told Taylee to go pick out a swimsuit.
I love swimsuits and we both have WAY too many of them.
(c'mon it's justified considering we're in the water every day!)
However she has one that she completely loves and picks every time.
So I guess she'll just wear it right out!
When I came out and found her she was wearing half of my accessories too.
I thought I had some years before we shared clothes!
This girly cracks me up!
We had some time before we needed to leave so we decided to go check the mail
since I'm awesome and check it about once every 2 wks!
Taylee didn't want to part with my shoes.
But offered hers for me to borrow.
I explained to her that I was a tad too large for her flip flops.
Finally she compromised that we wear one of each.
Burnt asphalt left heel here I come!
Then we loaded up and met our friends!
It was a HOT one that day
(I think I'm going to be saying that every day for the next 3 mos!)
so we were more than ready to get wet once we got past the crazy lines!

Last year I could do all the rides with the kids and it was so much fun!
Even Taylee was tall enough (ok maybe snuck on) for the big rides!
This year I sat and watched.
Not quite the same affect! lol
But hey I was able to go in the wave pool and lazy river
without any nasty stares from the lifeguards!
Break time!
Taylee climbed on a rock behind us to eat her snacks.
I asked her where she put her water bottle.
She beamed, "I found a cup holder in the rock!"
Huh! By golly she did! lol
And you wonder why I take more pictures of girls than boys!

We rushed home so I could finish working.
Um maybe I was or wasn't on the clock while at Wet & Wild.
The kids were being abnormally quiet while watching cartoons.
I went out and checked on them.
Holy crap miracles do happen!
These two never take naps!!
Guess we should go to Wet & Wild more often! lol
I had decided to just take it easy that night since clearly they were worn out.
But then Morts called and asked us to meet them at the movies.
I literally had to wake these sleepyheads and peel their sweaty bodies off the couch.
Once they saw their friends they were suddenly fine about the nap interruption though!

Definitely mixed reviews.
Ryan fell asleep during it.
I spent most of the time helping out kids with popcorn, treats and bathroom visits.
Kids didn't have an opinion but just stuffed their faces with junk food.
Ashley enjoyed it.
Tyler was in hall with Cash most of the time.
I thought for sure Taylee would have nightmares from the dark scenes.
So I avoided the night time hassle and opted for a rare family slumber party.

Ryan "unselfishly" volunteered to sleep in the guest room.
It was a long night of two little butts curled into each side of me
pinning me in with a big belly in my way as well.
Needless to say I was NOT a pretty sight when Ryan
came in the next morning to check on us! lol
But the kids loved it.
So I definitely took one for the team!
