After Thursday's softball game,
I officially was placed on the DL.
Consider it a mere 90 day retirement.
I was definitely bummed about this.
Ryan came to the game with me that night to oversee that I really
did submit my resignation.
He knows me too well that I would have snuck in a few more weeks!
C'mon I'm only 7 mos along! ;)
You see I'm severely anemic again.
(I know I know it's my never ending battle in life)
So batting, running bases, fielding
in 100+ degrees just isn't the best combination for me
and my growing belly.
I'm a fainter on a normal hot day
so being pregnant in the summer is brutal for me.
Ask me again why I'm 3 for 3 for AZ summer pregnancies!?!?!?!
But hey at least my OBP for my last game was also 3 for 3.
So I'll go out on that high note!
And I'll be back on the fields in September!
