Happy Father's Day
to all you hard working men out there!
We celebrated Sunday morning with the rest of you.
Although Ryan isn't "biologically" a Father for 8 more weeks,
he is definitely an awesome Step-Father to my lucky kids.
He puts just as much time, effort and unconditional love into these kiddos
as any other Father out there.
Being a step-parent is a tough gig and not one that anyone can do.
But Ryan does it seamlessly!
So he more than deserved acknowledgement on this special day!
We gave him cards, balloons, new grill tools and a new swim outfit.
Then his Baby Girl gave him a special card too
telling him how excited she is to have him as her Daddy
and included this picture in his card...
After presents we made Ryan his favorite Breakfast Burritos
and then called Papa Nolie to wish him a Happy Father's Day!
I am so lucky to have such an incredibly amazing Father
and to show my love for him I priority mailed a package to him a week in advance
....
that he still hasn't received yet!!
I just love the good ole U.S. Postal System.
Or is it really that my pregnant scatterbrained wrote the wrong address?!?
We might never know.
It still hasn't been delivered to him or back to me.
So Happy Father's Day to whomever in the world received a random package from AZ! lol
We then lounged around and eventually got ready for church.
After church we had Ryan's choice for dinner.
Pot Roast, potatoes, carrots and rolls.
A classic Sunday dinner! :)
Later on it was oddly overcast and not too blazing hot.
So Ryan taught the kids how to golf in the backyard.
(yes i know that's a very expensive mistake waiting to happen!!)
I did make sure we were only using putters and pitching wedges though!
(love the usual concentration tongue hanging out!)
Nice Form!!
Then we moved our way to the park since Anden was having a
hard time with the concept
"Don't do a full swing!"
Luckily for us the sprinklers were also on!
What else do you do at 6pm on a hot summer Sunday?
Hit range balls and run through sprinklers! :)
Finally Anden got too hot and asked if he could run through sprinklers too.
Why yes of course, go soak your clothes! lol
Poor old Jasper got drug through the sprinklers with crazy Taylee!
Yes this ball was a little too close to my HEAD!
Here comes trouble!
Giving the baby wet hugs!
Eventually we walked home and topped off the night
by making Lemon Bars for a bed time treat!
We hope you all had a great Father's Day as well!
