We decided to take Papa Nolie up riding at Table Mesa.
There's still SO much water in the river and plenty of color in the desert!
Spring time is just so pretty here and we love playing outside!!
(well as long as you don't have allergies!!)
The little girls only agree to RZR rides if we can stop intermittently
and throw rocks into the water!
Another pit stop and potty break for Eastlie!
I thought Ryan was gonna break the RZR going over the huge rocks in the river bed!!
On the next pit stop Ryan talked Dad into eating a Prickly Pear cactus
straight out of the ground!
Papa Nolie was up for the challenge
since "he sees these in the grocery store all the time"
Notice the spines (thorns) are still in tact.
My gut feel was that they were CRAZY to attempt this! lol
They acted tough and said that it didn't taste too bad!
Then a bit later they both complained that they got thorns in their mouths!! lol
Dad's like I think there was a second layer of pricklies that we couldn't see! lol
Hmmm you think?!
Back to the river to play
Then we made our way back home for lunch and naps!
That night we went out to eat and then back home
for the longest board game ever! lol
Then the family surprised me with an early birthday present.
The newest Apple watch!!
Which meant Taylee was eyeing down my old one in hopes it transitions to her! lol
