Spring Break - Day 1

Date: Mar 18th

This was the first day of Spring Break!
We slept in a bit....ya that means like 8am!
It's a slumber party in Anden's room when we have guests in town! lol

Ryan took the day off to play with all of us!
We decided to head out to the desert riding!

We weren't far into our ride when 2 deer crossed the trail!!!
I've never seen deer out there even though I know there are some.
Poor things sure did draw the short stick when they were placed in a HOT desert! lol

So we jumped off the toys and went by foot to find them.
We tracked down one of them.
Pretty cool!

Then it was back to the trails for more exploring.
Papa Nolie got his wish.
It was HOT and DUSTY outside!
But that didn't mean he was going to part with his trusty Dbacks jacket! lol

Eventually we made our way back to the car.
The kids goofed off while we loaded up the trailer.
And wiped 10 lbs of dust off of everything!

And about that point Anden wheelie up a little too far and threw himself off
the back and his throttle got stuck for a bit
and ghost wheelie by itself for awhile before crashing over.
Uhhh ok time for all the mini humans to get in the car!!

On the way back home Ryan had an urgent matter at work
so he dropped us off and cruised into the office for a bit.
We didn't unload anything and just let the rig in the front yard.
I hurried and made everyone lunch and threw the littles in nap.

Dad decided to be extra helpful and unload the RZR, quads, dirt bikes.
So that Ryan wouldn't have to deal with it when he got home.
Then he decided to back the trailer into our side yard.
I warned him...repeatedly...that AZ suburb yards were nothing the size that he's used to.
Well he quickly learned exactly what I meant!!! lol

Ya let's just say he got hooked on to something and then pulled forward
and then ripped the metal wheel cover thing straight off the trailer!
But the best part is he didn't even know until I was screaming STOP!! lol

He felt awful but I assured him he owed us
for the many things my family has probably broken at his house! oops!
So now we were even! lol

I did forewarn Ryan that the trailer "might" need a bit of work
before we hauled it and the RZR to Mexico the 2 days! :)

That evening we all went to watch Taylee's soccer practice.
Go figure she didn't have any games while Papa Nolie was here to watch.
Yet she had 5 games the weekend prior and games the weekend after!
Oh well!
The girls played at the the sand volleyball courts during part of her practice.
Yep I think they'll definitely need another bath today! lol

"Mommy look I'm making Sand Angels!"

Then Laiky topped her by doing her sand angel face down....! lol

Then it was home for dinner and more games!
We opted for Uno after Papa Nolie couldn't handle
how long the other board games took the other night! lol
