Tonight was the
Diamond Canyon Night of Excellence.
It's where the school displays their Fine Arts Programs and can tour each classroom
to see what each grade has displayed.
Choirs and Bands perform
and all the students have artwork on display in the gym.
Taylee's musical group was supposed to sing one of their songs
from their play Wizard of Oz
to promote the play opening the following night.
But it poured rain ALL day!!
The performance was supposed to be outside so they couldn't set up the
speaker equipment and had to cancel it.
Taylee still had to attend because she's on NEHS
(National Elementary Honor Society)
and they were the school hosts for the evening.
So I told her Laiklyn and I would still come on over and support her.
Anden went too with his buddies.
We found her and Anden's artwork on display!
I barely saw Anden while we were there.
But then I saw this on the school facebook page the next day!
Oh that's where he was!
At the photo booth wearing a tiara! lol
