This day is pretty much a blur!
We drove all night while I was the sickest I've been in years!!
I finally fell asleep for a little bit
and then woke up to a gorgeous Idaho sunrise!
Then an hour later we pulled into Papa Nolie's house.
Ryan immediately went to bed
while I struggled to keep the kids entertained.
The older kids immediately darted outside to play in the snow.
So I half played with Laiklyn while half dying
while counting the minutes until she went to nap
so I too could pass out!
After naps we somewhat felt a bit better.
So we headed outside to play and make snowmen!
We gave Laiklyn an intro to the snow...um didn't go well!
So we put her in a pair of way too big boots.
She was NOT a fan of the borrowed boots being way too big for her.
She hated that she couldn't walk.
So we ran into Walmart and got her new ones
and then it was back outside to give it another try!

Um guess that was too close for comfort!
At least Anden and Taylee aren't scared of a huge horse head right in their faces! lol
Second try = much better!
And boots that fit made her happier too!
However she still preferred to be held
Eventually we busted out the motorized toys
and drug the older kids behind us on a sled
Somehow they think this is the funnest thing ever
We played long after the sun set
Here's your sign that they're thrilled to be in Idaho Snow!!
Once their faces were frozen we went back to snowman making.
Apparently we needed an army of snowmen.
We finally headed inside to thaw out
and get some SLEEP!
Oh and at this point Ryan got blessed with the flu plague!
Another one bites the dust.
