Final Summer Staycation - Day 1

We had to make one last go out of our Summer Break!

So on a whim I booked us a room at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio

and away we went to play for the weekend!
One last hurrah before school starts next week!

We pretty much lived in the pool the entire time we were there!
So much fun!

That massive splash behind Anden is Ryan!

We brought our floating playing cards and had a competitive game in the hot tub!

We laughed and splashed and wore Ryan out all day!

Back to the slides!

The kids wore a path they went on it so many times!

I may or may not have been checking out my watermelon pedicure when Anden came out of the slide!

No worries I captured him next time!

Taylee wanted Ryan to wait for her at the bottom to help her out.

Good Samaritan deed ruined by Anden's mischievousness! lol

Finally I even got a turn!

Yes that whale of a splash is yours truly!

That slide shot me out way faster than I thought it would!

Too bad I didn't look as graceful as the kids! lol

Eventually we headed back up to the room to get ready for dinner!

The resort is built into a mountain.

So the views and sunset are gorgeous!

After dinner we went up to the top of the mountain to see the city views.

So pretty!

On the way back to the room

I promised Anden we could stop at the gym for a quick work out!

Pumping iron with those twig arms! ;-)

Finally we made it back to the room.

But that doesn't mean it was time to relax.

The bed jumping marathon began.

As much as I knew I should be a responsible adult.

I wasn't.

I sat back and laughed at their total joy.

I remember as a kid jumping on the hotel beds and how much fun it was too!

Eventually we did crash asleep from our action packed day!
