You would think the kids would sleep in.
But nope!
They were up bright and early ready to play!
We grabbed breakfast and then headed right to the pool!
Heading up to the slide!
Then we ventured down to the lower pool.
The kids think Ryan is their personal transportation when we're swimming. lol
So while the kids rode their chauffeur,
this Momma got some much needed relaxation!
Even when Taylee is drowning she's still posing! lol
Human Surfing
They have different children's activities throughout the day.
So we headed to the upper pool to join in Craft Time!
After they finished their new key chains,
it was back into the water!!
We were famished and decided to head back to the room to grab a late lunch and check out.
The resort is huge so I had decided to let the kids bring their scooters along.
However it's also VERY hilly as it's built on a mountain.
Well they asked if they could take a quick ride while we loaded up the car.
Innocent right?
I overhear Anden saying, "C'mon Taylee follow me!"
Then they went up around the corner.
Anden comes flying down the hill squealing with delight.
Right as I about to yell, "TAYLEE DON'T DO IT!!"
She comes whizzing down the hill after him.
Her squeals of delight abruptly ended when her front wheel turned sideways and she went flying!
Ryan and I were both frozen watching it unfold
as we knew EXACTLY what was going to happen.
We took off running and scooped her up!
Then rushed her straight inside to clean up.
Oddly she wanted her picture taken first! lol
I immediately turned on the water to wash the road rash.
To our dismay,
no water came out!!
WHAT?!
Ryan hurried and called the front desk.
"EXCUSE ME! We have a little girl here bleeding with road rash and NO water to clean her up!!"
Apparently they had a scheduled a water line fix that affected 10 buildings
but yet somehow forgot to tell one room.
Yep, us!
Needless to say this Momma regulated that situation
and we ended up being comp'd the entire stay!
Having a free staycation made our black wounds much easier to handle!

So we checked out of our free room and headed back home
to clean up those pretty little knees!
