Sleepovers

After the family birthday party,

Taylee and Hiedi begged me to let her come home with us.

So sleepover it was!

Taylee has never had a sleepover so I had promised her she could have one this summer!

Heidi's family lives 30 minutes away.

So it actually became a 2 night sleepover!!

Saturday night we just crashed asleep.

Sunday we got up and went for a bike ride which turned

into an impromptu splash pad visit

all before church!

The we dolled up for church.

Afterwards the kids showing off their drawings from class.

During church it began to pour and pour.

We were SO excited!

It was still raining after church too.

So we spent the afternoon jumping on the trampoline in the rain.

Phew saved on my outrageous Anthem water bill!

It's all fun and games

until someone's shorts fall off.

Heidi ended up staying Sunday night too.

And joined us for our usual Monday Movie routine.

Then Ryan sadly had to take her back home afterwards!

After the movies,

me and the kiddos played and played.

I love how bloody nose mysteries seem to happen too often around here.

One second they are laying on my bed watching a movie while I change.

The next second Anden's yelling he has a bloody nose.

Yet nobody knows how it happened.

Hhmmm

We headed out soon after to the splash pad.

It was still an overcast monsoon day.

So we had to enjoy it!

 I have absolutely LOVED my Mondays off with my kiddos this summer!!
