Friday night all sports were cancelled due to the rain
(it rained pretty much all of December!)
so we suddenly had a free night!
We grabbed the Mortensens and headed down to the Train Park!
This time I gave Ryan the pleasure of riding the microscopic train
while Laiklyn and I stayed back and entertained the grandpa volunteers!
We did hop on for one group pic though!
The kids had a blast taking their turns driving another train
The girls waited to talk to Santa
while the boys ran off to find the cookies and hot cocoa!
Yep! It's real!
They gave him the ole tug test!
And all the girls young and old! :)
Thank you Mother Nature for allowing us to skip
soccer practice and a baseball game
to enjoy the holiday events instead! :)
