Today is my Mom's Birthday
or as we now refer to her as Angel Grandma.
She would have been 66.
All of us siblings wanted to do something special "together"
(even though we're all spread out throughout the United States)
to celebrate her birthday.
So we decided that each family would release 11 yellow balloons
with messages for Grandma
and then record it and send to each other.
It was such a neat thing to see each of my siblings and their families doing this!
Each new milestone without Mom has been different and difficult.
Makes me smile knowing we can come together as a family to help each other
through these new times.
The videos are too big to upload here.
But here's some fun pics that were texted out.
Luke's family in Idaho...
Luke's family in Idaho...
They even went all out and wore yellow for the occasion too!
Lyndsay's family in Las Vegas...
Jordan's family in California...
Brooke was on a flight from Chicago to Salt Lake City that day
and then still had to find a place to buy balloons
before the sun set that night!
Brooke from Utah...
Nate's family in St. George, UT let their balloons go at the Temple.
I don't have pics darnit. Just a video.
And then my little family in Arizona...
Happy Birthday Mom!
Hope you enjoyed your balloons!!
