Laiklyn doesn't have school on Fridays.
So we always try to do something extra fun since she's home with us too!
Today the girls wanted to go to the big train park.
So that's just what we did!
Waving to the train making it's first round before opening for the day!
Clearly she gets her upper body strength from her Dad!! lol
Eastlie decided she was done with the park was going to ride the train
even though I repeatedly told her not to walk over to the train
and that we would ride it later with Daddy.
She doesn't take no for an answer.
So she wandered out of the park over to nice older gentleman that was fishing
and asked him if she could ride the train!
I ran over and grabbed her
while she was telling him her life story.
He said, "You're just too cute for your own good!
Can I give you the money to ride the train?"
I was totally embarrassed and assured him
we had money for the train but were waiting for later to ride it.
All while Eastlie has her arm oustretched, palm open waiting for the honey she just panhandled!!
The kind man refused to take a no for an answer
(hhhm sounds like my daughter)
and dug all of his change out of his pockets and gave it to Eastlie anyway.
She flashed her adorable mischevious grin and told him,
"Thank you I'm going to ride the horsie too!"
Then with her hard earned money tightly squeezed in her sweaty grip,
she marched straight over to the horse carousel.
And wouldn't you know it he had given her exactly the right amount of money!
Laiklyn got to also enjoy the fruits of Eastlie's labor.
I swear she was having fun and felt her money was well spent...
despite the very serious look! lol
And then I corralled the wild cats to the car
and we went to our usual "girl lunch date" location!
