One of my fave things about Christmas
is delivering goodies to friends, teachers, coaches, neighbors.
So for our Monday family activity,
we ate a quick dinner and then loaded up in the RZR with a huge box of goodies
to start taking around the neighborhood!
Each year we give out something different.
This year I made these little treats!
(sorry usually I get a nice pic of the entire dining table lined up with prepared treats
but ya this is life lately, you get a dark pic in the RZR on the go!)
We had 20 gifts to deliver this night.
We got most done and then cruised back home to drop off Ryan and the littles.
Then Anden and I went and picked up Taylee from soccer practice.
Then we finished the rest of the deliveries in those neighborhoods with Taylee!
Anden was my huge helper.
He sorted each gift and ran it up to the door for me!
I got to just sit in the RZR and wave at each house!
After we finished the load of gifts that night
Anden asked how many we had done.
We counted it and 19 had been delivered.
He said, "Mom I wonder if we could give out 45 gifts this year!"
Considering this is my child that always has a mile long list of things HE wants,
I jumped all over that suggestion.
OK deal Anden! Let's give out 45 gifts!
The next day we headed back to the store to buy more treats and supplies!
It took us a couple more weeks and about 3 more RZR rides to get it all done.
But you know what?
We handed out 57 gifts!!
That was probably one of my most favorite things this year!
Thanks Anden for challenging us to give give give!
