Storytime with Mrs. Claus

Date: Dec 10th

Eastlie and I go to Story Time at the library every week.
We were super excited that this week there was a very special visitor!
Mrs. Claus!!

Eastlie was a little star struck at first!
Or really she just wanted to climb up and over me and destroy my purse looking for candy!
But hey we won't tell that to Mrs. Claus! lol

It's fun to experience things with the younger kids that I did with the older kids.
This same Mrs. Claus (because there's only one right?!)
came to Taylee's preschool back in the day!!
I got to be part of that activity as well!
She's so cute and funny.
She does magic tricks, music, reads a book, etc.

Eastlie was super excited when she got selected to be one of Mrs. Claus' helpers!
I was a tad worried knowing she was definitely the youngest kid up there! lol
But she did great!

She gave each kid a trinket to go along with the story/song.
Eastlie got a polar bear puppet!
But all she really wanted in life was Mrs. Claus' Christmas bells! lol

I just love that my love of everything Christmas has spilled over onto my kids
(I'm still working on my hubby)
Eastlie knew all the words to Jingle Bells and was singing along! lol

Good job Eastlie Bug!

After story time ended we got a photo op with the Mrs.
She talked a little bit to each kid before us as they took their pic.
When she got to Eastlie, oh she just went on and on about how adorable she is
and how her eyes are just beautiful and the same color as Santa's! ;)

I figured dressing Eastlie in a Rudolph outfit would catch Mrs. Claus attention.
Looks like my plan worked! lol

Then we made a craft.
Little snowman lights.

 Another successful library trip!
Now to pick up Laiky from school!
