Here comes the Trouble Twosome!

Date: Dec 11th

These two little girls of mine are quite the handful!
And that really is an understatement.
Mischief is their first name!!
I swear Anden and Taylee weren't this bad at this age!

We had just gotten home from picking Laiky up for school.
They wanted to go outside for a bit while I was making lunch.
I trusted them for literally 3 minutes!
I kept yelling their names and they would answer.
I knew that was trouble.
I ran outside and couldn't find them.
Then in the far corner of the side house I hear,
"Mommy we're just over here playing in the sandbox!"

This is what I found!!!
OMG I've never had a kid this covered in wet sand.
Even after getting tumbled over my massive ocean waves!
"WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED TO EASTLIE?!?!"
Laiklyn beaming,
"Mommy I poured water on her and then sand!"
It had rained the night before so there was buckets of water nearby. Ugh.

I had to take a pic cuz I knew there's no way Ryan would believe how sandy she really was.
Laiky, still proud of herself, posed for the picture.
Clearly it hadn't dawned on her yet that she was in trouble

Finally it started to sink in that she was in trouble for torturing her little sister.

One more forced smile before I go to timeout! lol
Meanwhile Eastlie was frozen in place shivering!

I had no other choice but to hose her down.
She had way too much sand on her to pull her shirt over her head without getting it in her eyes.
So yep I had to leave her clothes on and spray her off.
Also that much sand would have for sure clogged the shower!
I felt so bad because it really was a chilly winter day.
She took it like a champ as I sprayed cold water all over her.
While Laiky watched from a warm safe distance. Little Stinker!

Finally back inside for a warm shower!
Eastlie's telling me all about her struggles

She cracks me up.
She was loving the shower and telling me all about what happened!

Some call it the Terrible Twos.
But in addition to that,
I have the Terrible Twosome!
Good thing they're so stinking cute!
